Samuel S. Franklin
Musically Samuel shared the stage with great artists such as Marius Mueller Westernhagen, Jose Carreras, Sarah Conner and many more. He is currently working as a vocal director and also a singer for the legendary German music icon Yvonne Catterfeld. I can also be heard on their latest album „CHANGE“. I accompanied Yvonne on her comeback tour in spring 2022 and supported her on stage with my gospel choir.
Samuel also recently appeared in the 12th season of The Voice of Germany 2023 with prominent juror and music star Mark Forster on the television platforms, Prosieben and SAT 1.
As an actor, his first success in the film industry came when he landed a supporting role in the 6-episode TV series Almost Fly in 2021. (Available now for streaming on Netflix)
After successfully filminmg Almost Fly production company Wiedemann & Berg Films then cast Samuel in the role of legendary singer John Davis in the upcoming Milli Vanilli kinofilm Girl You Know It’s True. The biopic stars German actor Matthias Schweighöfer (Army Of Thieves, Oppenheimer) with Director Simon Verhoeven. (Willkommen bei den Hartmanns, Nachtleben).
„Girl You Know It’s True“ will be in cinemas worldwide in 2023.
